Life as a straight line? This One-day-workshop is one of a series of cultural seminars with the amazing Polish art historian Malgorzata Figiel. Become part of a very special cultural journey!

The labyrinth - archetype, universal symbol... but symbol of what?! 
Let us follow the idea of the labyrinth through times and places from the origin.
Maybe we will find a new understanding, a new meaning or at least our own point of view for this great mystic symbol. The source of inspiration for myths, legends, mystery, religions and especially religions of "the Centre", for psychology, for all kinds of art.... The source of so many questions... Let us dance in circle - "the dance of labyrinth" or "the Geranos Dance" ( the crane's dance).

Malgorzata Figiel

Malgorzata Madzia Figiel studied history of art at the University of Wroclaw in Poland. 
She is interested in mediaeval paintings and architecture, every mannerism in art, and especially in iconography. Most liked: observing everything around, writing essays, stories, stories for children, poems, making photos, reading, painting, going own ways...
She is a mother of three children, and a new and proud grandmother.
